Hello Frds,

Pardon me if this is not the right thread to place this info. I haven't seen this info on Forum so thought to post about it. ISB Class of 2010 Placement began yesterday and Started with a bang as compare to last year. Seems After Summer Placements ISB is roaring once again...

Have a look at Rediff's business News... Since I am new to this Forum and this is my first post I am not able to put Link as per the Moderator's rule. So can't paste the link but its in Today's Rediff's Business News Section...

Thanks..

I just noticed that the Interview window for international applicants/Hyderabad interview location has been extended... I remember seeing it as Jan 28th (or around that time)... no it has been moved to Feb 6...

Is there a maximum job exp. requirement for ISB? For example....candidates with more than 10 years of experience are less likely to be slected.

The minimum exp required is 2 yrs, the avg experience for previous batch was 5 yrs. There had been cases when isb had admitted 20 yrs of experienced candidates. Check out the ISB batches profile for previous yrs.

yes, surely you can get in touch with the isb for the status update. They usually confirm 7-10 days prior to the confirmed interview dates. Below are the tentative dates for various locations (source ISB site):

Following are the tentative interview dates in cycle-2:
City Dates
Delhi 04 - 10 January, 2010
Kolkata 15 - 17 January, 2010
Hyderabad & International 26 December, 2009 - 07 February, 2010

Based on these dates, you may get a call anytime. All the selection and ding mails are sent at the end and on the same date. So, in worst case, if one is not shortlisted for interview, ISB won't update the status till the end :(

Regarding 2nd attempt of GMAT, I'm not sure if isb would accept your new score in the half of the whole selection process. Check out with isb about this. Though surely these scores would be eligible for next yr.

Hi Guys,

Whats up? There has not been any action recently.

Any lucky ones out there? Any tips for "to do" and "not to do" for next year :)

What is your GMAT score? How much we need to get on an average?

Thank you :)

For ISB the 80% GMAT score distribution is 680-760 with average being 716. At the sametime ISB has admitted applicants with score as low as 600 provided you have a very strong application.

Check out this post by herovijay, he has talked in detail about ISB GMAT scores:
