As per my info*,

Booth sends the interview invites to the applicants who are being considered for scholarships in the last. So if you think your application is strong and you haven't received the invite yet, that means you are being considered for scholarship.

But if your application has significant weeknesses, then may be you can start to worry after this week.

:-D Looks like we are getting delusional.

Guys,

If you dig previous years threads, you can find that around half of the total invites in R2 were sent in the last 2 weeks.

This is way too early to start worrying( I know it's difficult).

I think there is no merit to the scholarship thing

Cheers,

Yes and there's a large number of people who had given up hope only to receive surprise IVs on the last day of invitations. I'd recommend spending some of the nervous energy going back and perusing the pages of this year's thread and last year's from before you joined the GMATClub/Booth party.

As far as the scholarship thing, I can only assume that rhyme will skewer it soon.

A reality check is overdue. Stop posting your "complete" date as evidence that it is ok that some of us don't yet have interview invites. It proves nothing. We just might all be screwed! :?

Normally I would agree with you, but in the case of Booth, I think the "complete" date might actually have at least some importance. Accoring to an October blog post on the The Rose Report:

"That said, I'd like to address why you might want to consider applying prior to any of our Round deadlines. Since my team will begin evaluating applications at least one week prior to each application deadline, those applications that are submitted (and are considered complete with all required application parts) will be queued up to enter the evaluation process ahead of those submitted on the deadline. This means that you will hear back from the admissions committee regarding the interview process well ahead of those who wait to apply on the deadline...."

I can hardly stand the rollercoaster ride. I would rather prepare for doom than get completely heart-broken on Feb. 17th. The anxiety is unbearable. I can't make any career plans until I know I am in somewhere. Aaarrghhhh!!! Somebody stop me from checking my email every few minutes even when I know that it doesn't help! :(

I'm just as neurotic - I set all my email preferences so that the only emails that filter into my inbox are from my boyfriend or the schools I applied to. Now I only get a heartattack a couple times a day, as opposed to 20 times a day. :-D Baby steps!
