get the other 4 manhattan math books
get the reading comp manhattan book
get the Powerscore SC - it has a foundation of grammar that Manhattan SC doesn't have

how would u rate verbal of actual gmat compared to that of gmatprep and manhattan?
i had scored around 37-38 in verbal in last 6-7 prep tests at home..i found the q's during actual exam to be much tougher and still I scored only 28....

well i was never nervous on my tests - tired to have a carefree attitude. After i got my first score i decided to take gmat class and verbal "clicked" for me afterwards. The week before exam i just went over the books and some questions i got wrong on and did not take any practice tests at all. Whether you want to take another test is up to your timeline and the colleges you want to apply to. I think if you get the rest of the MGMAT books and focus on your errors you will go over 600..

how wud u rate scores in manhattan cats compared to actual gmat...do u feel these mock test scores are inflated..
certainly your point of not studying much one week before exam holds merit...i did 2 mocks and studied till last day...worning out to such an extend didnt turned out to be a gud idea...

Re: shocked by my score [#permalink]
i guess the math on manhattan is harder due to more difficult geometry and probability/combination problems compared to the real gmat - but that is determined by the problem pool so it could really go differently for others. Verbal is harder to compare since for me the Reading passage is difficult if the topic is very boring and dry. I wouldnt worry too much about practice cat difficulty vs real gmat since you still gotta take it even if it is harder.
