Welcome to the gmatclub!

If you have any problem with Math section start over with Kaplan Math Workbook, this book is really good for the starters! And for further preparation go for gmatclub tests (https://gmatclub.com/blog/free-gmat-test ... b-members/)

As mentioned above by BB and shaselai take a diagnostic test and then start your preparation , 580 is achievable. You can do this!

Keep us updated about your journey through GMAT! Good Luck!

I definitely think you should take a GMAT Prep first to see where your score is right now and try to improve on the sections where you feel it's easiest for you to improve on, instead of doing it vice versa. Your GPA is excellent! And good luck :)

Thanks for the support, I'm needing it. I haven't taken a diagnostic test yet, I was thinking on saving MBA's prep tests for my last two weeks to have the more real experience I can get just before actually taking the test... I guess I can take the OG diagnostic test instead but, should I do it under timed basis or not?

What I'm trying to ask is: Is it a good idea to read the responses and explanations of the OG questions without trying to resolve them? (Take the guide as a text book rather than a practice one). Resolve the questions is taking me a whole lot more than 2 minutes and at the end I don't even have the right answer so I feel I'm wasting time that I could use on trying to cover all of the MGMAT books material.

it sounds a bit like you need error log. What I would do is read the explanations, mark the problem via error log then after some studying go back and reattempt. only doing after you "forgot" about the problem

Hi there,

The OG book is not a great source for "teaching" your the concepts. MGMAT books will definitely do that a lot better. Also take a look at the MGMAT Official Guide Companion. They have GREAT explanations for quant. Even I could understand them!.

Good luck,
Dawgie
