I just want to also point out that everything is relative. "Easier" when compared to 2008, or 2009... but the longer-term trend (admit rates) is definitely tougher (lower).

^^^Not so,this article shows that certain school's acceptance rates have gone up for a number of reasons. # of applicants and increase in class size being the two main things.
But as always is the case, this doesn't hold true for every school. So you're right

Yeah, like what the article says... doesn't really apply to the HSW. All the "ultra elites" will still have competitive admit rates.

if you hang around these boards long enough, you wouldnt think it would ever be "easy" to get in....apparently nobody here has a 600 gmat
