I am a die-hard Wizards fan. Though we are having a terrible season, only team without road win, I can see the bright future coming.

oh man, I'm a big fan of the bulls, ever since the jordan days. I think Rose has a pretty good chance to lead the bulls to a brand new dynasty (also a big durant fan)

if Bulls make it deep in to the playoffs D Rose will be serious candidate for MVP.. he's pretty much carried the team through the season with boozer n noah taking turns being injured and deng being consistently inconsistent

I've always liked Rose, ever since he started playing. He has shown extreme atheletic ability, as well as a great sportsmanship behavior towards his teammate and the league. These young players are what drive to watch the games. As mentioned, Kevin Durant is another one of those kids where skills + sportsmanship make such a big deal.

Here's my take on tonight's game. I think the Lakers is going to win tonight, but only by a margin (I say about 3 to 5 points). This is one of the last ones before the all-star break and lakers has something to prove after the horrible loss to the heat (on christmas day), as well as the disastrous showing in the fourth quarter against the celtics last month. I think both Bynum and Gasol are going to establish themselves early on the game and I sincerely hope Artest to stay out of foul trouble and to practice a bit more on the corner threes before displaying it on the court. Lastly, the lakers bench needs to be huge especially when they finish the second and third quarter.

Final score:

Lakers 103
Celtics 98 to 100 range

I didn't get to watch the game, but was keeping up with the score. Seeing my prediction against the actual score, I need to practice a bit more on my sixth sense =P

As mentioned earlier, I love Rose and I think he's a super awesome player. Not only is he equipped with the professional level of basketball-playing skills, but he's also got some of the best sportsmanship in the game nowadays. Ever since he went pro, I've been hoping that the Bulls will make it to the playoff, and I think this year we may finally see some struggles in the eastern conference as the top teams battle it out for a spot in the finals.

Yeah, that was quite weird given the drubbing cavs have been getting from left, right and center.

i honestly think the lakers are a bit off their game (i know that's an understatement) but here's my take on it...

so far the laker's defense and offense have been on and off the walls like crazy. i mean they beat the celtics and then lose to the magic and cavs is just too volatile, and i blame on the team's dependence on kobe.

when he has a good day, the team wins, or at least sigificantly increase their chances of winning

and when he has a bad day, it's garbage.

i think phil jackson sees this but it's kind of hard to make any real adjustments to this because besides kobe with the assist of Gasol, the team is dead and they have such an significant influencing factor over the time entire team that they wouldn't go anywhere without them.

on the other hand, if you look at teams like the miami heat, they're VERY consistent, because of their big three - lebron, bosch, wade, and they're able to hold the team together even if one player is off the floor. Another example here would be the Celtics where each of the members on the team is strong at what they do: if you look at Kevin Garnett, he's the glue of the team, the back bone. Big baby plays straight center, and then you have allen - long range shooter, and guards like Rondo and pierce that each are VERY strong at what they do and hence can overall make a strong team even if one or two of the members on that team is off their game. And this is the kind of team that ends up winning the championship: consistency.

Now...

what can the Lakers do RIGHT now to change their game play. Well, their already 3rd in the west so they're slipping a little bit. I say we need new blood in the team. Get rid of the dead weights like Artest and Shannon Brown who really don't have an direct impact on the team. Pick up valuable players, perfect example, get Carmellow Anthony. If i was Phil Jackson I'd drop Artest and Shannon Brown like white on rice, hands down. They're dead weight and they don't really have a use for the overall team except just consume space on the floor. If they got Anthony into the Laker's, 100% hands down, you'll see a turn around because he has the speed, agility, and experience to play unlike some of these free lance agents.

That's just my take because as you know, and you can see, that Kobe is slowing down, he needs some drive, and some motivation to keep going, someone to keep him in check, and I think Anthony is the answer for that. I would hate to see such as talented player go to Knicks or the Nets...those teams are useless anyways, especially now after Strodomire got suspended for fighting...watch the Knicks lose a straight a losing steak now without out :-D
