I got dinged but they didnt tell me me to get more professional experience - I already have 9 years

My ding mail was quite generic - your application was strong but due to the competition we cannot offer you a place in this intake. Wish you best for the future, etc.

I think the fact that they have asked you to reapply means that they like you and you almost made it. If you're really interested in reapplying, you should and I believe you'll have a good chance. They don't tell everyone to reapply (they didnt ask me to) so take this as a good sign. Good luck!

I would agree, there's a note somewhere on the INSEAD website saying that re-applications from rejected candidates aren't welcome, so if they specifically invited you to reapply at a later stage it's a very good sign that they do like your profile, would like to admit you but feel you're just not quite there yet with work experience.

I've looked already but for some reason neither gold nor oil seem to be available in a German basement!
Robbing a bank unfortunately doesn't seem to be an option given INSEAD's focus on ethics, but I'm sure we'll all find some way to bring up the cash!

Does anyone have an idea when we'll get details on the next steps?

Congrats to all successful one. for the waitlisted.. visit the waitlist forum , there are some useful insights in there.

Cille and others from London, we have an INSEAD admit get together planned for 11th March eve so make sure you put that in your diaries too.

I am admit from R1 and will be starting at SGP. No accomodation is sorted yet.

Feel free to reach out for info. MBA connect log ins are sent within couple of days after being accepted.
