Hi - I'm the co-founder and Head of Product at Magoosh and can answer any questions you have.

@rasta - To answer your question, we have 1 GRE offering (though you can choose math only or verbal only if you wish.)

Thanks,
Bhavin

It could be as simple, and as innocent a reason as Magoosh not having the time to do it, or just sticking to the most popular/ best selling GRE books. I have gone through a few of the Manhattan GRE books, and am currently going through the rest. What I will say is the latest Manhattan GRE guides are first class books, and I defonitely highly recommend buying them as opposed to guides from Kaplan, Barrons, and Princeton. However, each guide has its own merits, and Princeton, for example, would be best suited for those who, while starting off, are weak in both quants and verbal.

I will be posting a detailed review on all guides over the coming weeks, and will start with the Manhattan series because we already have excellent reviews on the other guides from the Magoosh team.

FYI, Magoosh GRE is currently running an limited time offer on their offerings, with the premium plans going for $49; that's a a 75% discount!!! I haven't tried it myself, but might do so after i'm done reviewing the books. If their blog is any indication, then I'm sure it'll be well worth the money.

@rasta and @Silver89. we have not reviewed the Manhattan GRE guides because we were sticking to the well-known GRE books. However, it sounds like there's demand for reviews of Manhattan GRE, so we'll definitely consider it in the coming weeks.

Thanks!

it would be very helpful because there is almost no thing about Manhattan GRE books
well i need some help on my plan , and you seem have perfect knowledge of the content of the GRE books
First point is that i need at least 760 on math, on the other hand, an average score on verbal will be OK
my math is OK .... but verbal is under the average .... i have a lot of problems with vocabs and i think i forgot a lot of the grammars
do you think a combination of Manhattan ( only math books ), the official guide for the new GRE , and magoosh ( verbal and math ) will achieve my goal

thanks in advance for your time and for the awesome DISCOUNT on your website

@Silver89, I cannot comment on Manhattan GRE books because our team has not reviewed them. Your plan seems like a good one (you should always use official material) but the amount of prep required depends on your current level compared to your target score.

Good luck, and let me know if you need any other help.

Hello, all!

I'll just tag on to this question to point out ---- Magoosh now has a large number of GMAT book reviews. Here are two blogs that compile several reviews in one place.
https://magoosh.com/gmat/2013/gmat-book-reviews-2013/
https://magoosh.com/gmat/2013/best-gmat- ... rces-2013/
Among other things, the second one links to reviews of all the volumes in the MGMAT series.

Another publicly available resource: our free ebook:
https://magoosh.com/gmat/2012/gmat-ebook/

And finally, collections of practice questions
https://magoosh.com/gmat/2013/gmat-criti ... questions/
https://magoosh.com/gmat/2013/gmat-sampl ... questions/
https://magoosh.com/gmat/2013/gmat-probl ... questions/
https://magoosh.com/gmat/2013/gmat-sente ... questions/

Let me know if anyone has any questions.

Mike :-)
