Why do you say that post MBA experience is not positive for the application?

Because most academics don't think there is any use for corporate experience in academic research. What insights or perspectives from the corporate world are needed can be gained easily through interviews etc. Ask your professor.

P.S. I am not trying to start an argument here. That corporate experience is not beneficial is not my view, but rather, I am relaying the view of academics from top business schools with whom I have spoken.
