Academic Requirement for Top/Average Canadian B schools.

Academic Requirement for Top/Average Canadian B schools. [#permalink] New post   11 Dec 2014, 20:39
I am from India, and i was looking at Academic requirements of Canadian B Schools.I found that i am not eligible for B schools like Rotman and Mcmasters B school.

My CGPA is 7.73

and SGPA for last 4 semesters is 7.33,7.30,6.83,8.50 .

I wanted to know the names of B schools where i am elligble from only "academic requirement point of view." Going to each B schools webiste and understanding the way they convert CGPA to GPA or what B average means for each B school really got me confused.Hence wanted to ask here.Thanks.

Why are you not eligible for Rotman?

If you have a bachelors and three years work experience, you are eligible for all Bschools as long as you have your GMAT and TOEFL.

Rotman have provided a link from "international Degree Equivalencies" in their Acads Requirement Section.
I can't post the relevant link here because i am a newbie.
According to the link i should have minimum 8/10 GPA but mine is 7.73.Likewise for Mcmasters one needs to have min 7.5 GPA in last 2 years but mine is 7.49. So i was really concerned and wanted to know for which B schools i am not elligible from academic requirement point of view.

Hey there,
Well you should take those "Requirements" more as recommendations. All B-schools, Rotman included will take a look at your profile holistically, so fi you have some other awesome stuff, you are not automatically out just because you have .2 less on your GPA,
