Hi amgmat15,

A 630 is an above-average score (it's a bit shy of the 80th percentile overall), so this is not a bad result. While it's understandable that you might want to retest, this score might be enough to get you into Business School.

If you can include the Scaled Scores for the Quant and Verbal sections and your IR score, then I'll be happy to advise on how you can improve.

If you are looking for more practice with IR, we recommend practicing with these IR questions online: www.gmatpill.com/gmat-practice-test/gma ... -reasoning

Always aim to score your target score on a practice test before walking into the exam. Sounds like you covered a lot of topics but didn't get enough practical experience ---that practical experience can make the difference.

Hi amgmat15,

While it would be a different story if your score had been lower, a 630 is a great starting point. I know it was lower than you were hoping for, but definitely not low enough (not really even close, actually) to consider canceling the score altogether. I'm also curious to see your Quant and Verbal scores. Once we have a clearer idea of where you need to improve, you'll be able to spend your time leading up to your second attempt focusing more on the problem areas and less on the question types you've already mastered.

Best,
