Hi

It would be great if you could evaluate my profile , Thanks in advance

Information

1) Brief description of full-time work experience

Current: Integration and verification engineer (Ericsson Sweden) . (1 year and current)
Main duties:
- Test development and verification.
- Test case management.
- Dealing with customers to get their issues resolve.

Previous: Test Manager (2 Years) (Volvo Trucks Sweden)
- Responsible for management of project software testing activities (Lead the project testing with team of 6 people)
(Got the excellent feedback from the higher management as a team manager)

-Junior Software test engineer (1.5 Years)


2) GMAT
Preparing and hope to get the score of over 720.


3) Education:
Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden
Masters in Software Engineering & Tech
Grade :B
Year (2009-2011)

University of the Punjab, Pakistan
BS(Hons) Information Technology
CGPA - 2.62/4 (72 %)
Year of Graduation: 2004-2008

4) Significant college / post-college extra-curricular activities / leadership experience
College:
-Active member in Online Gaming- Lead the online gaming team of 5 people (Won national prizes 3 times)
-Used to be the Captain (leader) of cricket team in the school days.
-Lead the team of 10 people to collect the donation for old house.

5) Your target programs
-MIT
-Yale

6) When you plan to apply?
R1 2015-16

7) Post-MBA goal
IT product manager

Chances: Could you tell me what are my chances to get into MIT? any suggestions are more than welcome

Hey there good sir,
Good to hear from you.
You have some good stuff in your profile including most notably, managerial experience and real international experience. It's a bit hard to evaluate your profile without a real GMAT, but I think that even with a 720 MIT is a stretch. You can and should still apply. Yale will be a bit easier, but also you will need to think about what other schools you might want to apply to. I'd suggest firstly expanding your list to include 5-6 schools from the Top 20 (if of course you get that GMAT you are aiming for).

Hey there,
Well it's about much more than just a score. The GMAT is like the minimum threshold, and I'd say that a 710 is the minimum Threshold. Buuuut with your low GPA I'm afraid that MIT Wharton Tuck are gonna all be stretches for you. You can make up for your grades, but only to a certain extent, so my suggestion is that once you get your 720 (good luck!) think about expanding your list to Top 20/30 schools. It'll probably be a more worthwhile investment,
