Hi,

I would appreciate if you can evaluate my profile based on my GMAT score, Work exp and MBA field.

Work Exp: 5.5 Yrs
Indian, IT , Male
GMAT: 600 Q48 V25, IR 3 and AWA 5 (NO, I CANNOT RETAKE GMAT)
Extra Curricular Activities: Good ... I would rate them 7 or 8 out of 10
MBA Field of Interest: IT Consulting
LOR and SOP would be more than average for sure. :)

I don't have the best of news for you here mate. Almost all of those programs are stretches if you have a 600, come from IT, are an Indian male, and have a subpar GPA (I'm assuming here but given the profile above, I'm not exactly holding my breath for a first class distinction record from a top university). Why is a GMAT retake not in the cards?

Thanks Bhavik. I gave my 2nd GMAT yesterday and got 560. I cant give any more GMAT now.
FYI, my CGPA is 6.9/10. I think its around 2.9/4.0 in GPA.

Yeah...so...all those schools will be an uphill fight for you. I'm sorry to say that - I know it's tough to hear, but I need to be honest with you otherwise my advice is useless.

Thanks Bhavik.. And its fine. I dont have a great GMAT score. But I thought that GMAT is just one of the criteria.
So my work exp and leadership qualities might compensate for that.
Anyways, Can you suggest me some good universities with a 600 GMAT? US top 70?

Yes, one component, but a HUGE one. In a recent AIGAC survey adcoms stated the GMAT was the #1 reason they dinged applicants. #2 was GPA.
