Hi twodice1,

Its nice to hear that you'll be matriculating in 2017 from Mason School of Business. Recently, their team was in India for the the MBA tour and I had a nice discussion with them. During the conversation, they told me that they do not provide assistanceships to the students. This is one thing I'm concerned about. Also, can you provide information on the application process? Is there any particular aspect where we should concentrate more?

Sure, focus on the why Mason's program fits with who you are. For example, the Executive Partners program, the Mcglouthlin Forum. Speak with an alum and put your findings in your application. Rankings aside, W&M has good branding in the US and is considered a "public Ivy" so a little flattery wouldn't go amiss in your application.

For ascistenceships I would email Emory or Amanda for greater clarity.

Sure.
Started with general talk, then tell me abt your professional experience, current organisation, Why Mason, tell me any obstacle during your mba and finally if u have any questions. If its Amanda, then u will feel very comfortable talking to her. Ask some 2-3 questions and thats it. Keep us posted. Interview went for 30 mins.
