Hey sorry for the delayed reply. Got busy with work and then the interview. No Mason is definitely not a safe school, I am applying because I like the opportunities that I can get there. Additionally, I feel that the GMAT score is no more the most important criteria for admission. Its your overall profile which really counts. As for your situation, I see that you are planning to give the GMAT again. All the best with that, but I feel you should seriously consider Mason given that you are already selected.

Well I agree with you that Mason is a great school. But as an International applicant, I heard that jobs arent that great in Virginia.
However, states like NY and NJ have a lot of jobs and hence a better scenario. Masons average salary is $77k which is fine for me.
And placement rate is 77%. But its really costly for out of state guys. $120k for 2 years is a bit of concern. whats your take?

Jobs tend to be where you want to find them, Mason has excellent placement in DC and NYC (I know this as I will be looking at Boston and NYC post graduation). Money wise, an MBA is what it is, luckily the W&M name holds strong brand credibility and will still come across well with recruiters (spoken with C-level execs from F50 companies who would welcome me back afterwards). Lastly, GMAT scores tend to rise or fall between 20-30 points, by all means take it again but what outcome would that change?
