Greetings !!

My profile in brief:
I am from India & have studied BE from University of Mumbai in Computer Science (Passing 2010) I do not have a decent score in college. However i have a strong co-curricular profile (all with supportive paper work).
My experience 5 Years in Total
2 years with MNC &
3 Years in Family Business with several key responsibilities.
GMAT score
580/54%, Q47/67%, V24/36%, IR5/52% ,AWA 6/92%

I am aware that the GMAT score is NOT much, however i would request you to consider my profile and share your advice.

Ideally: my short term goal is to get into a MBA/Masters program so that i can get global exposure during the duration of study & post the program. I plant to stay/work abroad till a period of 5-6 years. My long term goal is to come back to India and begin a business/partner and work in it.

I am eagerly awaiting your response. :-D

While your GMAT score is not very good, in terms of how this will effect your overall candidacy, I would need a lot more info first to evaluate. Feel free to post here or send an email with this info if you prefer.

2) What leadership roles do you have at work and how big is the family business? Revenue?
3) How old are you and what are your other demographics?
4) What do you do outside of work?
5) What are your target schools?

Gautam,

Without getting into the profile details, the GMAT score can be a big spanner in the overall scheme of things here - definitely worth a re-take if you have the energy. If not, then check out the list of schools you may target here.

Getting into a bschool is NOT a goal - it should ideally be a means to an end.

Gautam,

Your GMAT score is on the weaker side. That's for starters.

There might still be a few schools that you could target - in the US and elsewhere. The target depends strongly on the rest of your profile. We need to get into what you did at the MNC and at your family business - as far as your family business goes, we need to make sure that whatever you say can be verified by an external source by way of a recommendation letter.
