Hi there!
Thanks for sharing your information - love the detail. Nice work on the GMAT. Congrats! In looking at your profile, there is a lot to love. First, your academic profile puts you in the conversation at any school, so no issues there
. Yes, you're in an overrepresented pool, but you still exceed the median. Your work experience is strong. I particularly like the fact that you've led work streams. Your involvement is strong as well! Your side business should surely equip you with plenty of great anecdotes for your essays. Your short-term goal makes a lot of sense given you have had experience in that industry before. Just be sure to demonstrate (different than simply expressing) your passion in the field. Also, note that a long-term goal of entrepreneurship is always looked at a bit more critically. Given that you have start-up experience of your own already, that helps, but make sure this goal is well thought out and that your purpose is clear.
Given that R1 has passed for most of your target programs, no sense in worrying about that now. If you're considering waiting until next year vs. R2 this year, I wouldn't. Your target schools are worth applying to at this time. However, 6 schools in one round is a bit ambitious. Are you sure you can dedicate the time to do all 6? Also, what is your risk tolerance here? I think you have a pretty good shot at at least one of these programs, but what is your back up? You may want to consider applying to one program that is a bit more aligned if you know you want to start in 2016 given that applying in R3 is not ideal.
Hope this information helps. We'd love to chat if you're interested in discussing your profile further and how we can help you this season. Also, feel free to check out
