Hi Linda,
I just read your "Is my GMAT good enough!" post from earlier this month and am hoping you might offer a bit of perspective for me. I recently took the GMAT (for the first time) and scored a 700 (Q47, V39), AWA 6, IR 6--my percentile breakdown was Q: 70%, V: 88%. However, after reading your post, I am marginally concerned that my quantitative percentile is too low for my target schools (H/S/W, Tuck, Booth, Kellogg, applying R1 '14 for each). I have a strong quantitative background with a MSc in Finance and Economics from a top UK program(me) and GRE scores with quantitative scores in the 80th and 89th percentiles. From your perspective and a hypothetical AdCom at my target schools, do my quantitative academic qualification and my GRE quantitative scores compensate for my lower GMAT percentile? Is my marginal concern warranted given my target school choices?
All my best,
