In all honesty, I prayed.

I'm aware this might not apply to everyone, but it helped me. Regardless, I can tell you what doesn't help—stalking the GMAT Club thread for the school you're waiting on. Everyone loses their minds in there, so reading it close to my D-days just put me even more on edge!

I was also curious about this topic and I took a poll: stress-management-during-applications-what-do-you-do-123655.html

it seems the majority exercised....

I can completely commisserate! I'm on my 5th and final wait week, so I'm getting to be a pro on coping strategies. NBD.

My recommendations:

1) Power yoga (sweat it out!)
2) Plan a vacation (cruises are especially cheap recently...)
3) Read Don't Sweat the Small Stuff--and it's all small stuff by Richard Carlson (call me cheesy, but I've found it super helpful and it's a quick read to boot!)

Good luck!

Lots of exercise. HIIT specifically... simple cardio doesnt clear my mind, it gives me an opportunity to think. You need to focus on something where you can have little victories constantly IMO.

But yeah, waiting was the worst part of the process
