Will go with C on this one

It is the changes that will affect and influence not economy (A,B out!)

D "that" is ambiguous!
E is not parrallel (will affect as well as to influence)

My vote if for C.
The semicolon(;) is used to connect two complete sentences.

My choice is C

Reason :
1. 'affect' and 'influence' parallel
2. 'Changes' takes the relative/non-restrictive clause no the word 'economy'

Well.. this thread would be boring without some contention, so for the sake of argument i'll pick B. I don't see why there is a need to split into two sentances. Is the phrase "as well as" considered taboo on the GMAT?

Ah... thanks! I should have paid more attention in middle school grammar. These sentance corrects are going to be the death of me :-D
