Re: Scored a 6 on AWA. Does it really mean nothing? [#permalink]
the percentile for a 6 awa is 89%. so many ppl get that score. It is not something that adcoms will weigh heavily. The may look at the essay but it won't make or break your application.

the AWA cant help you, it can only hurt you.

so if you have a low score it might be looked into. A good score wont raise any alarm bells.

I got a 6.0 as well.

Come on people, give the guy some props. Regardless of how adcoms look at it, having scored a 6.0 on AWA is still impressive. I mean think about it, it means, 9 out of 10 people who took the GMAT scored worse than you on the AWA.

9/10 scored worse? True.

Impressive? Not really

How many of the 9 actually tried to get a 6.0? Not the efficient test takers.
