Hi,
I purchased all the
Manhattan GMAT prep books (2007 edition) last year. I am starting to prepare for my GMAT from these books. After a month of self-study , I would like to join some class room courses. Since I am using these books to aid my preparation, Is it better for me to join a class room course from a different company (because they might give a different set of materials) or
Manhattan GMAT class room prep is good enough to join them itself ?
Thanks
I'm currently enrolled in an in-person 9-week
MGMAT and I think that if you have all the books, you should try out a different prep course so you could get a "different perspective." I enrolled in the course because I didn't have any materials to begin with and the course offered all the materials that I was going to buy anyway (
MGMAT guides,
OG 12,
OG V,
OG Q, test sim booklet, etc.)
MGMAT is an awesome, highly demanding course but IMO, it's more geared towards a structured self-study plan which relies heavily on the use of the
MGMAT guides and the OGs. In short, all the stuff I learned in the classroom, you can find them in the guides.
Since you have the guides, I would suggest that you look into Knewton. I've read some decent reviews about the prep on this forum. They offer a 50+ guarantee and I am also keeping this prep as an option, in case that I don't reach my targeted goal after my first attempt
