Thank you for posting the solution although I am a bit confused. What is your reasoning for adding the selling price of the highest and lowest cars to get the highest price? They're the selling prices of 2 different cars. Why wouldn't the highest price just be... the highest price for each month? Thank you!

For these 15 cars, the range of the selling price was $15,000 and the lowest selling price was $4,500:

Range = Highest Value - Lowest Value.
15,000 = Highest Value - 4,500.
Highest Value = 15,000 + 4,500 = 19,500.

A common enough question based on Range.

Range = Highest Value - Smallest Value

In the sum above, we know that the lowest value = Min(4500, 6100) = 4500

Largest Value = Range + Smallest Value

The largest Value = Max(15000 + 4500, 16500 + 6100) = Max(19500, 22600) = 22600

The range of the 25 cars = 22600 - 4500 = 18100
