I rejected A based on the use of 'which'
I do not see a comparison issue here.
Could you please elaborate on your POE for A so I can know if I am wrong in my understanding

Elaboration: POE A
Currently the comparison is between nuclear family and it is a family .
nuclear family is a noun & it is a family is a clause.
For a grammatically correct comparison here we need either Noun to Noun or Clause to Clause comparison.

how do you guy's attack such splits?
Found the right answer in the end but such splits are a tremendous struggle.

Usually I already check the answers while reading and can eliminate wrong splits fast, but I could not disect those answer choices until I read them.
Do you just read all of them?

Haven't found a POE (beside the pronoun error) at first sight .
