this question tests the correlative not only X but also Y in which X and Y must be parallel

in option A

not only meet the needs of that study, but also has the versatility

meet(X) is bare infinitive to form the future form, whereas has (Y) is the third person singular of the verb to have. As you can see they are not parallel

I edited my post. What I meant is that meet was the verb form for the future. Thanks for pointing it out.

Confusing. I go with B. To facilitate is the correct idiom. Between B and C B seems less awkward. Anyone has any opinions on this one?

Software will meet the needs

Software will have the versatility.

In A and B, B is apt. C,D,E miss the required "but also".

Ans: "B"

I agree that "not only x but also Y", since not only follows Meet(plural) so we go with have(plural),But does it make sense since,Here he is talking about "software" which is singular and how will it agree with "have"?

Can someone please explain?

Thanks in advance
