this question tests the correlative not only X but also Y in which X and Y must be parallel
in option A
not only meet the needs of that study, but also has the versatility
meet(X) is bare infinitive to form the future form, whereas has (Y) is the third person singular of the verb to have. As you can see they are not parallel

Confusing. I go with B. To facilitate is the correct idiom. Between B and C B seems less awkward. Anyone has any opinions on this one?

I pick the answer choice "A" based on the grounds that computer software is singular but the source shows different answer can some body throw light on this ? GREEN:Prep-phrase BLUE:Subject RED:Verb Clause1: The computer software being designed for a project studying Native American access to higher education will not only meet the needs of that study, Clause2: but also has the versatility and power of facilitating similar research endeavors. The subject in the second clause is "versatility and power" so we need have. A:wrong. Has is singular. B:Correct C:wrong.it is ambiguous can refer to study or software. D: wrong. need "but" to go with "not only" E:wrong. need "but" to go with "not only"
