Thank you for setting the ball rolling, Pikolo! Interesting to see the deadline change. Historically ISB's deadlines were September 15th and November 15th. They changed them about 3-4 years ago to attract applicants who were taking GMAT late to meet the R2 international deadlines in January.
It's interesting that around the same time, all the top US b-schools went for early deadlines starting in September. I guess ISB was feeling left out of the game and is somewhat reverting to its old admission cycle (atleast for R1). For R2, this decision should ease the burden on the applicants who were barely getting time to serve notice periods once decisions were out in mid-February.

Thanks a lot. But i meant to ask that since these deadlines are for the class of 2020. What about the 2019 class? Is it closed??????
I thought that the deadlines for the 2019 class will be announced in 2018??
Hope your query is resolved now. Thanks Rumanshu1990
Yes, my query is sorted somewhat. Since the classes for 2019 batch has already started, it means that by saying ISB 2020 batch you mean the batch which will passout in 2020. If I am correct??

Hence, the classes for 2020 will start in 2019.
Classes for 2019 batch have not started yet
Let me clear this out for you with an example :-
Admission process begins in late 2020 -->students are applying to get admitted in April/May 2021 -->Students pass out in March 2022 Intake --> 2021 Class of -->2022

Are the essay question(s) out yet? I tried to access the application page ( http://www.isb.edu/pgp/admissions/apply-online ), but was unsuccessful. Firefox and IE did not let me go through as the page seems to be setup incorrectly. Is anybody able to access the page?

ISB also mentioned that they provide feedback on the application to those who got dinged last year. I don't remember the month they mentioned when they do this. Was it June? or July?

Any idea what were last year's essay questions?
Following were the Essay topics for last year: ESSAY 1: If we were to admit just one more candidate to the Postgraduate Programme (PGP) at the ISB, why should it be you? ESSAY 2: Describe your short and long term career plans. How does the PGP fit in with those?
Ohh.. and BTW the deadlines are out for the aplications.
Round 1: September 15 2018 Round 2: December 15 2018.

Do we need to submit recommendations by the application deadline? Or can that be given later as well. Since, recommendations depend on availability of seniors in office, would ISB consider a slight delay in the same?

Only one recommendation will be needed for the PGP application.
Generally, a delay of 2-3 days post the deadline is permissible, but it is not recommended. Try and work with your recommender to make sure he/she sends it across by Sep 15 (R1) or Dec 15 (R2).
