Interesting to see the deadline change. Historically ISB's deadlines were September 15th and November 15th. They changed them about 3-4 years ago to attract applicants who were taking GMAT late to meet the R2 international deadlines in January.
It's interesting that around the same time, all the top US b-schools went for early deadlines starting in September. I guess ISB was feeling left out of the game
and is somewhat reverting to its old admission cycle (atleast for R1). For R2, this decision should ease the burden on the applicants who were barely getting time to serve notice periods once decisions were out in mid-February.
