Admission Procedure

• Candidates may apply for more than one programme. Those who apply for multiple programmes may be called for multiple interviews and/or group discussions.
  
• The selection criteria for different programmes may differ depending on the nature of the programme.
  
• In its pursuit of academic excellence, XLRI actively encourages the students from diverse backgrounds. While preparing the shortlisted candidates for the interview, in addition to XAT performance, we may factor in academic ability and the relevant work experience.
  
• For candidates who cannot be present physically for the XLRI interviews due to their being out of the country, interviews would be carried out in online mode via Internet only for General Management Programme (GMP).

Note: Candidates may please note that the tentative dates for interviews are likely to be scheduled during February 16 to March 15, 2019.


Stage 1: Applying through GMAT/XAT

Prerequisites for GMAT Applicants:

All GMAT applicants must take their GMAT between December 01, 2016 and December 20, 2018.
Indian candidate registering through XAT 2019 Rs. 1700/- and Rs 300/- each for every additional programme of XLRI
Foreign and NRI candidates registering through XAT 2019 $50 and $25 each for every additional programme of XLRI
Foreign and NRI candidates through GMAT Rs. 5000/-


Stage 2: Shortlist of Candidates

The names of the GMAT candidates will be shortlisted by end of January.
The names of the XAT candidates will be shortlisted by end of January.


Stage 3: Interview Process

The interviews for GMP candidates through GMAT and XAT will be conducted between February and March in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and Jamshedpur only.
GMP Interviews can be conducted over G-talk / Skype for overseas candidates. Candidate needs to get in touch with the admissions office for scheduling the interview online.


Stage 4: Result Announcement

The short listed candidates will be announced via email along with an offer letter for XLRI-PGDM (GMP) by end of March.

Can anyone tell me the final deadlines for PGDM(GM)?
I understand that the process works on rolling admissions but there must be a date for sure to apply before!

I have applied to the XLRI GMP program through XAT 2019. However, did not get any options to enter the SOP or LOR while filling up the form !

I have couple of questions and would appreciate if you can help me with these:

1* How to go about the SOP and LOR ?
2* What is the expected XAT cut off for GMP ?
3* What is the conversion rate (Admit/Calls) ?
