Dear friends, I hope you are doing well! this topic covers all aspects of applying process for HEC Montreal. Here are critical information:
It is a one year intensive MBA program that prepares you to start your journey! All students must provide two letters of recommendations preferably from current or ex bosses. It is better not to provide an academic letter of recommendation as MBA is a fully hands on work degree, and it is in direct opposition to master of science or master of art degrees. The GMAT average is around 650 and IELTS or TOEFL is required for international students (also there might be some exceptions). After completing the degree you will be given a one-year post graduation work permit visa. It is important to note that only programs that are more than 24 months of length give you opportunity to get a three-year graduation work permit visa. You can communicate with administration office through mba@hec.ca. Based on current tuition and rankings available HEC has the best return on investment. The HEC Montreal is ranked:
3rd IN CANADA AND 30th IN THE WORLD Poets & Quants (2016)
3rd IN CANADA For the reputation of our program – Canadian Business (2016)
6th IN CANADA AND 94th IN THE WORLD QS Business Schools Rankings (2018)
11th BEST IN THE WORLD For our EMBA, CEO Magazine (2017)
17th IN THE WORLD Non-US programs, biennial ranking, Forbes (2017)

Have HEC released their essays and has application started? Because I logged in to application site yesterday and there is no MBA option for academic year - fall 2019.

Hi guys.. I am planning to apply at HEC Montreal for Masters in Global Supply Chain Management program in 2019 batch. However, I am confused that whether I should apply for the fall or the winter session. The deadline for the winter session is 15 Sept but I am afraid that applying near to the deadline would reduce my chances of acceptance. Can anyone clarify on that? Also, do the results get declared after or before the admissions deadline in case I go for the fall batch whose deadline is 15 March?

Thank you parham for coming forward to start a discussion for class of 2020 applicants and posting helpful info in the top post. Just one question: Does HEC release decisions only decision dates or they are on rolling basis?

Hello, I got the admission offer for FALL 2019. I was asked to accept/decline the offer. Can anybody please tell me by when should I accept the offer? I am still waiting for a decision from a few other universities.
