I am planning to apply for EPGP round 2. Will be taking the GMAT test in Nov first week.
Need suggestion for SOP writing. Please suggest the areas that it should cover.

Thanks for taking this initiative. What would you like to recommend in our preparation for interview. For a candidate with experience on bit of a higher side (9 years for me), what would the interviewer like to focus on during the interview?

I got an interview call for EPGP and need guidance on how to prepare for WAT and PI.
For example, is there a particular format for WAT, what questions can we expect in WAT and PI.

Hi Nivedita,

IIMB takes the effort to fill a class which is rich in diversity.

You SOP in general should reflect the following:
1) What you have achieved professionally and personally.
2) What makes you stand out as a person
3) What unique perspectives you bring to the class.
4) Your aspirations after completion of the program

Hi,

The interview will revolve around YOU, your past experiences & future aspirations and a little bit of general knowledge.
The interviewers may test your stress handling skills as well.

"Tell me about yourself" will be a definite question so make time to prepare for the best version of yourself.
Be prepared with your Key selling points and their supporting stories.

Hi,

The GMAT range of the current batch is from 680 - 770
and the average is around 710.

The WAT will be on a general topic which tests your ability to make a sound argument.
Your arguments might not necessarily be the right answer but should be supported with proper reasoning.
The topic for WAT will be from general day to day news.

During info sessions, We heard about the scholarship opportunities. If a candidate who is offered scholarship, does not enrol, is that passed on to next in the list or will it lapse

Hi am situated outside india and have opted for skype.

How is WAT done for skype mode?? Can we used the procedure we learned for writing GMAT essays to write for WAT ( the format we understood )? Do i need to prepare something special?

You will receive an e-mail of the question for WAT. You will be given 30 minutes to write the document and mail it back.

No special preparation required for WAT
- make sound arguments with supporting reasoning
- be abreast with the current affairs

Hi, I have close to 10.5yrs of work experience in diverse domains of IT. Could anyone clarify if for 10+ yrs there is any chance of getting an admit? I see most profiles with around 7-8yrd exp.

What is the average exp years for candidates? Does IIM consider diversity as a factor in profiles? Is it too difficult for an average IT professional with 700 gmat score to get in EPGP

I have close to 11 years exp, but is diversified with IT and entrepreneurship. I have a call for R1. So I think they are not rigid with years of exp, as long as SOP conveys your strength.

Am pretty nervous for the interview though, have heard IIMs have the toughest interviews! Is there any https://gmatclub.com/chat group for the R1 candidates? Plz share the link here.

The batch size is 70-75
The acceptance offer is split equally between R1 and R2 with a buffer for around 15 waitlisted candidates.
