No worries Narenn. Oil and gas drilling engineering background spanning three continents, with a pre-MBA internship in Private Equity. Applied and was admitted for R1 at CEIBS. Essays comprise responses to four stimulus questions and centre around the question of "Why China?". 2 x letters of recommendation are required, the format for which would be no different to any other school. Interview was over Skype, the connection for which dropped in and out frequently, but they were very good about it! Of utmost importance in your application to CEIBS is to be VERY clear about why you want to be in China and how China ties in with your background and goals. Hope that answers the question .

Hello, I have not applied yet, but since I had recently given my Gmat ( 720 ) , I was thinking of applying to this University, after reading up a lot of content online about it and also in this forum.
I am looking for information on whether if I apply now, would there be any chance of them even looking at my candidature or would it be just rejected at the door.
I just had my Skype interview today. However, the Skype connection was a disaster. We can't hear each other clearly but fortunately, the interview continued through phone calls. I wanted your opinion, should I write a follow-up email to apologize for the bad experience or not?
Anybody else in a similar situation whereby the interview was conducted through the phone?
