Hi all - new member here. [#permalink]
Hi all,

I've just finished my PR book and want to move on to a Kaplan one and I'm stuck. I have 2-

a. Kaplan Primier Program 2007 Ed
b. Kaplan GMAT 800 2006-2007 Ed

Which book should I go to next? I've heard some mention a third Kaplan book: "Kaplan 200x With BD". Is this the same as (a.) above or an entirely different book.

I've also read some say (a.) above is not worth spending time on...?

Thanks for your help,

My signature has the list of books I am using.

If you don't feel weak in certain area, you don't have to get a book specialized for it. The general books contain enough tricks and tips for your need.

From what I read in this forum especially Paul's post, I'd go with the Premier Program first. Premier will build another layer of foundation after PR. The Kaplan 800 will be used as the test practice marathon before the exam.

I am preparing for GMAT since last 3 months (not that diligently though) but now I have started to take it more seriously.. I am looking out admissions in Fall '07.. can anyone please suggest if I am too late for it.. ? or what is the least I need to have a GMAT score to apply for Fall 07.

Also I am looking out for GMAT OG 11th Edition but it seems it is out of stock in Hyderabad . Any help where can I get the book in Hyderabad or Mumbai ..

preferably before end oct. as most schools start their cut-offs in early oct upto end nov for round one. For exact data refer to school websites, they have the exact deadlines.

IMHO, for your initial preparation, the only books you needs are OG11 orange, Priceteon review (or Kaplan) and MGMAT SC.

After that, if you are weak in certain areas, you may want to get another book.
