S1: when exactly one is negative other is positive and as they are consecutive so they are -1 and 1 so sufficient

What is the product of a certain pair of consecutive odd integers?

(1) Only one of the integers is negative.

This statement implies that the pair of consecutive odd integers is -1 and 1, since this is the only instance where one number is negative and the other positive in a pair of consecutive odd integers. Therefore, their product would be -1. This statement is sufficient to answer the question.

(2) At least one of the integers is positive.

If only one of the integers is positive, then the pair of consecutive odd integers is -1 and 1, and their product is -1. However, if both integers are positive, then any pair of positive consecutive odd integers would be possible, resulting in different products. Not sufficient.
