leadership does not have to equal being a manager. you can demostrate leadership skills in any position... search around the forums for threads about leadership, you might be able to get you cake and eat it too :)

First post on this forum, pretty pumped about all the info floating around this site.........and I'm sure this question has been askedmany times, but what the hay

So.....what if the spark for the MBA pursuit originated because an individual realized their current field was not of relevant interest to him? Does this person stick it out in the leadership position already attained or does one float around trying to get started in an industry in which they have no experience?

I would have nothing specific to offer in my concentration of choice, is this a major deal?
