Hi:) I know you're talking about books here, but has anyone of you heard about iExpert English? It's an app for iphone and ipad to improve you're english skills, for exams or essays etc. I found it very helpful, they give useful tips on grammar topics or structuring of essays... i know not everyone likes learning from these little screens, but the good thing, there's a free version in appstore and you can always carry it around, without taking so much space in your purse;) i just used it besides the normal studying, while waiting for the train... hope it helps someone and good luck with your TOEFL!

I have a review about "Cambridge Preparation Course of TOEFL "

As a tutor I found this book's reading passages and questions very similar to the real iBT TOEFL test. I encourage all test takers to give this book a whirl at least to its reading section practices.

Good Luck!

I encourage you to practice with a friend and present your response to him/her. Also in the preparation time that you consider for yourself try to practice on writing an outline for your answer; it can help you omit your long pauses when you speak.

"IExpert English" is a very good app to get prepared for TOEFL exams, especially for the writing parts...
You'll find it on itunes store and there is a free version of it as well, for those who don't want to spend the money. Haven't tried that one, but the normal version is great:)
good luck with learning!

Hi guys,

a slightly different question. I have another 5 days until Saturday (11th) to prepare myself for my TOEFL test. I have had a 3 months weekend preparation class, and am currently working on Speaking (being within time limitations) and Writing, based on some YouTube videos.

I still have some exams to do - from Cambridge, Barrons, Kaplan, Thomson and Longman, and wanted to hear your opinion and suggestion which one to take until Saturday. I've heard that the first three (Cam, Bar and Kap) should be closest to the real TOEFL, but would be happy to hear your opinion as well.

Goal: Will be very happy to achieve something around 110 and above.

Thanks in advance! Kudos guaranteed.

Regards,
