I finished my phone interview this week. Here are the details:
Skype was not working. So, no video conference. I had dressed up for the video interview, but that didn't happen.
I dialed into the phone number provided.
I was given a word, and was asked to think about it for a minute, and then speak on it for 30 seconds.
My questions were quiet random. Since my profile belong to a very large group of IT professionals with 5 years experience, they asked me very direct questions?
1. What are my current responsibilities and what am I doing in outside India?
2. Why should ISB choose me?
3. They asked me in detail about my CSR initiatives outside work.
4. Anything else I want them to know.
5. My turn to ask them any questions about the school.
They primarily asked me only these questions.
Most of the interview was conversational. The panel on the other side was very slow in asking their questions, and I believe they wanted me to ask more questions, but we ran out of time. We spent a lot of time discussing about what is my USP and why ISB should choose me.
I messed up the answer toward the end. My interview went ok.
My interview was also very similar! Cannot predict the outcome. Now waiting!
