Calling all Kelley (Indiana) 2013 Applicants!

i haven't lost hope. It's just that putting kelley on my 'interview invite' list, removes pressure on my top two, ross, booth, and also uiuc...where i'm already invited to interview. I want kelley, olin, as my other options.

Kelley is indeed a great Marketing school. I think even a casual glance at their career statistics will show that they place very well into consumer products and other marketing positions. The Kelley website says that 17.2% of their grads go into Consulting and I think Deloitte hires a fair number of Kelley grads (but Deloitte hires almost everywhere) but I haven't really seen anything to suggest that Kelley places particularly well at other major consulting firms. If you're looking for a similarly ranked school which has better consulting career stats, you might want to also take a look at McDonough (Georgetown). Consulting is one of their fortes and they've had recent luck placing grads into BCG, Booz Allen, Deloitte and a few other firms.

If kelley doesn't respond by the time i hear from my number 1 and 2 schools, i will probably withdraw my application. Good luck to everyone!

I do not think it was discussed before. My interviewer did not know anything about me.

Mine was blind, too. My interviewer pretty much only knew my name before the interview.

My interview was blind as well with a second year student. Nothing out of the ordinary and similar to what others are saying.

Does anyone know when Kelley will contact my reccomender's and employment for the verification process? At this time only my reccomenders are aware of my intention for business school and would like to properly notify my employer prior to Kroll's or whatever service is used does. Any information is greatly appreciated.

I was under the impression that Kelley and many of its peer schools didn't bother with verification, but I might be mistaken.

from the discussion threads last year, it seems they release the result in early march. fingers crossed.

Yeah I'm looking forward to hearing back - I had a great visit to Kelley and would love to go.
