Calling all Tuck Fall 2009 applicants!

this year no one has reported a call before the e-mail went out either. and the e-mail didn't go out the day of. I think it's pretty clear that this is a generic e-mail. SOMEONE would have gotten in before now and the e-mail would have said today if we're looking for exact adherence to last year's pattern.

Tuck has said they were taken aback by the volume of applications last year in the EA round. I think it's fair for us to assume that they have their heads on a bit straighter this year.

and Ninkorn, I totally understand. for me there is Tuck, then there is everyone else. Yeah, I'd be relieived to get into kellogg, but I'm only really going to consider other options if I don't get into Tuck

Got the email..I don't want to read much in to it. Am going to try and chill out for one more week. Who knows what will happen after that !!

btw, after getting that email, how many of you actually logged in to the online application and checked your status..If you haven't, ...........

I checked, no status change. I think it might have something to do with when they upload the changes and set the release date in the system. but that's just me thinking about what would cause the mass e-mail. not based on anything.

Tuck is on fire today! they sent me another email inviting me for a prospective student chat? any conspiracy theories?

Any R1 applicants receive the prospective e-mail? I haven't received anything from Tuck since I applied.

Also, could one of the mods update the roll call and put it on pg1, so we can track stats once Tuck starts releasing decisions? agold?

Finally, it's D-Week. Dec 19 is approaching...only 5 days away.

There's always a chance that they will notify the admits via phone before that date...

For weeks now, Kellogg thread has been the thread to watch.....

I feel like this thread will replace Kellogg thread as the most suspenseful thread to monitor starting today.....

Chicago, Cornell and Duke are also expected this week. I predict that the forum will be dominated by folks from Chicago followed by Cornell. Tuck and Duke will fight it out for last place.

Sorry nadtrans. It will be more like Chicago and Tuck fighting for 1st place (since yours truly applied to both schools and drama tends to follow me around ). Then Cornell and Duke but since I didn't apply to either school.....both might fall behind Kellogg thread.
