I am in for R1. Submitted on 11/11. Not interviewed yet. Could not get a confirmed interview date before the 11/12 deadline. So just visited, hoping they will call me

Bad news.
Tuck isn't going to increase the size of their enrollment (anticipated since application volumes are up) like other schools.
I guess it's a decision that they reached to keep their student body competitive.

Part of the appeal of schools like Tuck is the small class sizes relative to other schools. If they increased their enrollment it would take something away from the "brand" that Tuck has been trying to build.
Sure, it's definitely bad news for us applicants anxiously awaiting decisions, but I think that a lot of schools are trying not to water down their brand during this historic period which IMHO is a good thing for those of us that manage to pull off a miracle during this app season.
But talk to me after I receive my ding and I'm sure I'll be singing a different tune lamenting the fact that no one increased enrollment. =]
