Someone mentioned that the last call was made at 1:20/1:30 pm last year. What time zone?

this site has been a great source of information, inspiration and support so i thought i'd check in and provide my stats...

please add me to roll call... i got the call from the adcom at 11:30ish central time. i'm in!

my stats:

26/m/chicago/4.5 WE in strategy consulting/740/3.16 at a top 10 college.

Ad-com Dean just tweeted the following about 70 minutes back "Tomorrow is final decision day for Round 1 Admits! A VERY EXCITING day for us in Admissions to welcome the first part of the Class of 2012!" ... Does that mean more action is expected?

Kurt Ahlm called me and I think he did not mention $$$ in my case...I asked and I believe he said "no merit based scholarships were awarded for you"...but I was so excited that I couldn't care less about it...I will know every detail tomorrow when the decisions go live, so I think that today it will just be going out for dinner, drinking and celebrating...

I guess that’s it. They have been giving out calls since morning 8:00 am. They would be done by the 300 calls for R1 by now.

Well if last year is any indication, 79% of interviewees were accepted .... yields 26 total admits this year, so there should be fully 16 more of you. Don't loose hope people!

Didnt get a call till now - so probably its curtains. Anyhow got a meeting from 2.30 - 4.30 pm. If I do get a call in between you can be sure I will not come back to the meeting...

Looks like most of the admits (of the ones that reported their interview) received early interviews. That is, they received invites earlier than the mass mailing on 11/10 that I was a part of. Makes me wonder if that last round of interview invites was just a huge bin of "just in case" people . . .
