Look at all those 7 hundo +… Surely there is some meat in the rest of my app to make up for my measly 680. I would gladly take the gmatclub role of the guy with a 680 who rounds out the low end of Booth’s middle 80% spectrum.

Looks like most of the admits (of the ones that reported their interview) received early interviews. That is, they received invites earlier than the mass mailing on 11/10 that I was a part of. Makes me wonder if that last round of interview invites was just a huge bin of "just in case" people . . .

I am a re-applicant and was invited to interview on Nov 4th. Haven't heard squadoosh yet today, so in some ways I thought I would have an advantage being so familiar with the school. I think trying to read into stuff like this is very hard and you just have to accept how painfully subjective and individualistic the process is.

Not sure... I received the interview invitation on 10/31 and no call yet. The last call reported was about 2 hours ago...

All right folks. I just called the admissions office. Here is the first hand information word to word :

"The decision date is still tomorrow. We started making the calls to some folks to make the load lighter. The decisions will be available by 9AM tomorrow in the system and we will continue to make calls. If you don't hear from us, then doesn't mean its end of story. Don't worry about it."

Congratulations.

But that means the curtains are down for me. Sending email to an admit doesn’t fit with what they told maddee -- they would send emails today only to make sure that they are able to inform all the admits today and then dings and WL's tomorrow.

Relax...he is located in Ukraine...probably tried to get him on the phone and could not...you could very likely be positioned lower in the list...

By lower I mean just later...nothing else, I was called very early and I was not awarded any $$...so timing means nothing...

Hey - still waiting, anxiously. Doesn't look too good right now, but I do think that either a lot of people haven't reported acceptances on this board, or there's still many to come. Should be at least 10 more, shouldn't it?

There is another similar case reported on businessweek. As the person was unable to be reached via phone, an email was sent. Interesting! It seems they want to contact the people they have decided to contact. First thru phone, otherwise thru email. Yes, we did not discuss this. But she was very clear that they will continue to make calls tomorrow as well - starting today was to make the load lighter.
Anyways, fingers crossed!

I would want to believe you. But going by last year's timing of calls, I am not able to convince myself that there are more offers to come.
