Re: Choosing schools [#permalink]

Based on your goals of learning in a collaborative environment, you may want to check out Tuck, Darden, and Fuqua. From my research and conversations with students, all three student bodies seem very collaborative (probably owing to their more remote locations versus the likes of MIT/Chicago/etc.). Plus, I believe Fuqua and Tuck are traditionally pretty friendly to applicants with more experience.

And, honestly, I was a little shocked to see Tuck wasn't on your list to begin with.

Tuck is a really great school, but I am worried about the size and the location. The first is just that I am excited about going to a place with lots of different perspectives and types of people. Perhaps Tuck boasts that kind of reputation within its small cohort. The second is because I'm forcing my poor boyfriend to follow me someone new in the world, and at least these other schools are near metropolitan areas. I don't count Boston because we both hate it there. A major reason among many others not to apply to Harvard.

I'm looking more in to Fuqua and I realize that I was a little hard on them because their website is so bad. I'll give them another look. Thanks!
