Thanks for the responses. I've already missed the appointment - was scheduled to take it in December, but had to leave the country unexpectedly to tend to a family emergency. I've since decided to enroll in a course to brush up on a few fundamentals with the aim of sitting the exam in April.

I understand that there is no way to recoup my registration fee - but as long as a missed appointment won't reflect poorly on my score report, I'm happy.

Dont worry about missing the appointment and start again with full enthusiasm.

lol yea gmac is earning a lot.
for submission of score it charges, for reschedule , retakes...a lot of money.

But best is it maintains good standards of exam.
