The Q asks about Salary + % of Sales Revenue ( that is Commission )

Option 1- tells about Salary only, Hence Insufficient
Option 2- Tells about % age of Sales Revenue but the Figure of Sales Revenue is not given hence and alone this can't answer the Questions, Hence insufficient

Together both statments are not sufficient, Hence E

Statement 1 - not sufficient (provides with the salary but not the commission)
Statement 2 - not sufficient (Revenue needed to calculate the commission)

Combining - Commission still cannot be calculated

So answer - E

(1) says

Selena's Compensation = 1000 + Commission

But Commission is not known

(2) says

Selena's Compensation = Elena’s monthly salary + 5/100 * Sales Revenue

But Selena’s monthly salary and Sales Revenue are not known

(1) + (2)

Selena’s Sales Revenue is not known

Answer - E
