BF1 says that there were almost no possible traces of Sulphur

BF2 which is the conclusion is against it 'cos without sulphur composition the combustion isnt possible which is stated in the premise.

I would tend to go with option B

the circumstance in A should be the comet collision, not about the sulfur

A for me.

Simply because BF-2 is not a conclusion. Its starts with 'it is likely', which shows that the author is himself not putting lot of confidence behind his...his what...his explaination, ofcourse. :-D

So A for me, I will be surprised if I got this one wrong. :roll:
