In my opinion and experience, it's best to start with the OG after you have gone through the MGMAT Quant books.

The questions from the OG are precious. They are the only source of questions which truly represent the GMAT standard. Therefore, when you start practicing questions from the OG, you must time yourself i.e. Note down the time you take for solving a set of 5 questions (the average time to solve a question in the actual gmat is around 2 minutes. So, you should be able to solve 5 questions in 10 minutes). If you feel that you're not quite ready to time yourself, practice on questions from other sources and proceed with the OG only after you feel that you've grasped the fundamental concepts and know how to apply them.

Cheers

:)

thanks for your opinion , i appreciate that :)

Kudos
BB would advice you to focus on one area at a time. It has to be either verbal or quant and not both together :)

That piece of advice is really helpful

Also, start learning quant firs because it's easier to retain quant concepts for a long time without forgetting much. Verbal concepts are forgotten relatively sooner :)

Thats what I did. After finishing quant, I switched to verbal and only did about 10% of quant after that.

I also read a lot of book (GMAT Fiction).

P.S. you have crossed the 25 Kudos mark and almost have 100 posts, so I have enabled your GMAT Club tests too - good luck!

thanks bb for your point of view
i'm gonna start reading (memories of geisha , i guess ) and thanks for enabling the GMAT club test for me.
