Re: REAL ESTATE - Columbia vs. Kenan Flagler [#permalink]
Besides Columbia being a 100x better brand name than UNC, I was under the impression that it also had a strong real estate program.

It is. I was emphasizing this and not the brand name. Columbia has one of the top if not the top real estate programs.

Not sure I bring much to the table on this from an architect, but one of our clients (developer) I worked with was a Columbia MBA grad. In terms of development jobs, which is what he was interested in landing upon graduation, he had to find it on his own. He then went on to tell me that if I want to do development, UNC could be the best program.

However, that was because at Columbia all the real estate recruitment was for The Street, he said.
