I went to the Welcome Weekend this past Friday and was really impressed by the administration and the program they prepared. I'm really excited about being a Hoya!! Anyone else from the Club attend?

Octane - did they discuss the new building at all? When is the ETA of completion? Early or Late 2009?

At the welcome weekend, we were told that classes would begin in the new building in the 4th module (quarter) or classes. That means in March we would be in the new building. Professors would move their offices into the new building over the summer.

next few days?

approximately one week?

arg, the waiting is killing me. anyone think that them taking a long time to release a decision is bad news? or is it strictly because of them being busy?

IMO...busy. Most of my calls over the past few months to their admissions office have gone straight to voice mail (which doesn't get returned). :P I suspect they're understaffed.

They're pretty good with emails though.

I haven't tried calling, but they are very responsive with e-mails. When I went for my interview, the woman at the front desk was constantly on the phone.

EDIT: Going on 9 days now...

Owww, my heart hurts. I just randomly decided to check my app status and it said your decision has been posted today with a link. DUN DUN!!!! My heart is racing but I click the link before I have a chance to get to crazy...

Congratulations! Upon the recommendation of the Graduate Admissions Committee of the McDonough School of Business, I am delighted to offer you admission to the MBA Full-Time Program beginning in Fall 2008.

Sweet!!! 8-)

My parents are leaving to South America on Sunday for 3 weeks, so I guess I'll have to make my decision in the next couple of days.

Is it a Gmat MSB club or just the regular MSB Class of '10 club? Did you get your admissions packet in the mail? How long did it take to get that?

Guys, I'm in! Like Raj, totally random the way I found out. Decided to log in for the 127th time to check, saw a new link to my decision letter. Heart beating...."Congratulations!..."

What a relief.

I submitted my app in early February (right before R2 deadline) and heard March 20th. So six weeks or so...
