still waiting as well...

in the BW thread mentioned above someone said he/she called adcom and "they said that all R2 aps were with ad com currently and they would be sending notifications out right up to the 3/28 deadline"

Comparing the timeline to other colleges (decision 6-8 weeks after app goes complete), I think we got some more waiting to do! Arg!!!

hot dog,

I didn't wanna keep posting in the NYU thread because I was watering down a thread where alot of people were still waiting for dings,invites, etc while no one really knows what is going on for gtown! :lol:

What are your stats if you don't mind me asking? You can message them to me if you do not want to post. I am just curious since from your response in the NYU thread, you are probably a young applicant as well.

Actually, I'm pretty excited that I got waitlisted, haha. I had a 2.9 in college, but did get a 680. I have a pretty non-traditional background -- English teacher, and technical writer --, so I'm proud that I could package myself well enough to be seriously considered.

I've got some irons in the fire, so to speak, so I hope to give them some good reasons to accept me.

Hey all. I just got an interview invite about 40 minutes ago!!

I'm guessing they just just started releasing them. There are on campus interview slots from march 24th-april 17th. I just counted over 200 open slots. Some important info from the e-mail I received:

-Equal weight regardless of who conducts
-interview schedule is updated daily with new openings
-adcom encourages you to interview in person but "Special circumstances may include applicants stationed abroad on active U.S. military duty or who live more than 300 miles from an interview location. If you have a compelling circumstance in which you are absolutely unable to interview in person, you may schedule a phone interview."
-After interview they will notify you of a decision on or around the notification date (March 28th). If your interview is near or after the notification date (like I'm sure all of ours will be), then notification will come approximately one week after receiving the interview assessment from the person who interviewed you.
-If you choose to decline this interview opportunity, please reply to this e-mail, and we will withdraw your application from consideration.

EDIT: It seems that all on campus interviews are monday-thursday.

April 10th. My birthday is this sunday and then my brother is getting married next friday so the next two weeks are really shot. I may move it up if I feel comfortable.
