Make sure the water you drink is warm-to-hot salt water, not cold.

I know some people that get freaked out by shaking sick peoples hands. So not sure how you would go down that path. Maybe bring anti-bacterial handwash.

I am coming down with something as well. The only thing that works for me is to take 3 excedrin in the morning when I wake up with an awful sore throat. It may not help fight the sore throat, but for the rest of the day, it doesnt hurt.

Go get a couple of boxes of the Chloroseptic drops. Those things are life-savers.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am worried that if I appear sick tomorrow, that it may be akward to shake people's hands. Hopefully today's the worst of it and the symptoms will improve overnight.

Actually, I know one thing that would make me feel better...a call from Kellogg today. :)

Actually cold weather has nothing to do with people getting sick (maybe pneumonia). The reason people get colds, flus, and the like in the winter is because they spend more time indoors with other people (spreading germs) than they do in warmer months.

So don't worry about the cold weather!

That's a good point. But 10'F and snow still sucks! :) 2 hours in an airplane won't help tonight though!

Sorry to hear that man.

I would buy some AIRBORNE and take it every 4 hours. That stuff always helps me get rid of everything when I am sick.

I've been downing AIRBONE..great stuff! I just had a bowl of chicken noodle soup. I'm starting to feel a bit better so hopefully it's getting better and won't be too bad tomorrow.

Two words: Wheat Grass

Go to a local juice place and get a double shot of wheat grass. Chase it with their best immune building drink.

AIRBORNE  ?? Caveat emptor, people.

Quote:
Makers of the herbal supplement Airborne have agreed to pay $23.3 million in a class-action lawsuit over false advertising.
...
But it's also the one, Schardt says, that's been misleading consumers for 10 years. First, he says, Airbone entered the market claiming that its formula — a result of research by second-grade teacher Victoria Knight-McDowell — could ward off colds. Airborne later backed off, reworking its campaign to say the supplement "boosts your immune system."
...
The problem, Schardt says, is that Airborne didn't have a single shred of evidence to back up either claim.

I bet they get this a lot this time of year. Don't worry, take your time. Don't be afraid to cough or sneeze, as long as you are prepared for it (armed with Hankey and all). Make sure you don't sniffle, but take a moment to gently blow your nose.

Apologize and explain your way out of it and still keep your composure. That will show your professionalism.

goodluck!
