"5. Write any practice exams I can get my hands on (any good suggestions?)"

What do you mean by this? Are you writing your own exams or taking someone else's practice exams?

Thank you all for your replies,

To answer your question Vann, by that comment I meant that I would attempt to complete as many questions as possible-perhaps any sample exams that may be available for purchase or for free. I would really appreciate it if you helpful bunch would direct me towards where I can find more questions.

Yes, I would also recommend that you include OG Quant Review and the OG Verbal Review in your study plan.

Furthermore, once you're done with your initial study plan, you could gauge your progress by taking practice tests and determine what your weak areas are. You target those weak areas by practicing further from resources such as MGMAT question banks and challenge problem archives that you can access on their website.

Don't be too rigid with that outline. You will be able to overlap some of it. The MGMAT guides provide additional questions at the end of every chapter. These questions are referenced to the OG 12th edition and OG Verbal/Quant books. You can save yourself a bit of time if you make sure you do the questions as Rx'd by MGMAT.

Pushing the envelope you can practice harder questions provided by GMATClub Tests (Quant) or some of the LSAT material for CR/RC.

The MGMAT practice exams are great practice and doing those will make life a bit less stressful when you do attempt GMATPrep tests.

Hi,

First of all, I want to thank all of those who have taken the time out of their busy days to help this newbie out :).

gparmar16- What does rx'd mean? Do you mean that the guides will point me towards a set of questions in the official guides? Should I then ignore the end of chapter questions on the MGMAT and just go to the OG for questions?

The strategy is good. You can work on the OG in parallel with the MGMAT guides - they reference OG and give you a specific list of questions to work on, so it works very well.

How long are you planning to take before the test?
